Decided to take a few snapshots of the girls this morning before church in front of the tree - getting them to smile at the same time is impossible but I think we got a few good ones. They are getting SO big, SO fast! Terry's taking the picture as you can see - he loves to that - NOT!!!!

Decorating the Christmas Tree

We are getting ready for Christmas at our house - decorating the tree is one of Madison's favorite things to do and Macey loves to un-decorate. They couldn't be more different!!!! Madison even tried to help Daddy put the star on top - but soon decided that she wasn't 9 feet tall :)

Thanksgiving Day

Sorry I haven't posted any pictures for a while but things have been very busy around here. We had everyone over for Thanksgiving and we all had a really good time - great company & great food!!! Gran-nan stayed the week with us and really got a chance to enjoy the girls. Madison and her cousin Ty got to play together and this was the first year they really hit it off - maybe a little too much, he wanted to marry her by the end of the day - he gave her the flower she is holding. Madison, Mommy, Nana & Emmy had fun making little turkeys out of oreos!!!! Macey even stood alone for about 45 seconds on Thanksgiving Day - maybe she will walk by the time she is 20!!! Hope everyone had a Blessed Thanksgiving!

ALL Dressed-Up for Halloween!

We ALL got dressed-up this year. Madison was Princess Jasmine, of course and Macey was a little pumpkin (Madison wore that outfit on her 1st Halloween so that was very special that Macey also go to wear it). Mommy & Daddy dressed-up for a party on Saturday night...can you guess what we are? Rock Stars!!

Madison got lots of candy Trick-or-Treating and Macey just enjoyed playing in Nana's candy bowl. Hope everyone had a great Halloween!!

Macey finally enjoyed some of her birthday cake...a couple days after the party!! She just didn't know what she was missing!

Madison's Preschool Field Trip

Madison's preschool class took a field trip to Hinton's Orchard in Hogdenville and Macey & mommy got to go too! We took a hayride, went through a corn maze, learned about how apples grow and picked a pumpkin. Macey even ate a little hay on the ride over! We had a great day!! We even had lunch with Poppy, Nana & Daddy afterwards...to celebrate Macey's actual birthday. Notice the girls have on matching jackets and overalls made especially for them by Nana!

Madison's New Best Friend

My friend from college visited us over the weekend for Macey's party and she has a daughter Madison's age...they really hit it off as you can see!

Macey's 1st Birthday Party

We had a great turn out for Macey's 1st birthday party; @ 30 people. She got a lot of gifts and had her first bite of cake. She wasn't in the best mood most of the day and cried a lot during the party. She wouldn't even touch her cake, she had to have a spoon. But everyone else had a lot of fun especially Madison - I think she thought it was her party too because a lot of her friends were there. The picture of Macey crying with her hat on pretty much sums up the day for her...poor baby! Thanks to everyone who came and to everyone who couldn't, we hope the pictures help you feel like you were here with us. Love you all~!

Happy Birthday Daddy & Mommy!

We had a great birthday weekend! Both mine and Terry's birthdays were this past weekend so we did a lot eating out and eating CAKE...Yummy! We went to Ginza Saturday night with Poppy & Nana. The girls enjoyed the fire. Macey wouldn't even try the food but Madison loved it; I guess that's how is goes with 2 girls that couldn't be any more different from each other. We are getting geered up for a BIG weekend....Glendale Days is Saturday and Sunday is Macey's 1st Birthday Party. I will be sure to post pictures of the BIG event.

Poor Baby!

Madison knocked out 2 of her front teeth on Saturday at a birthday party. The party was at a gymnastics place here in town. She jumped right onto a little boys head, she bruised her gums pretty bad and has a busted bottom lip. What an awful way for the Tooth Fairy to come!

A Day at the Pumpkin Farm

We had a great day at the pumpkin farm today. We came home with 2 big pumpkins and 3 tiny ones. Madison and her Daddy have big plans to carve them sometime soon. This was little Macey's 1st time to pick a pumpkin; Madison had to help. They enjoyed riding in the wagon even though Daddy had a little trouble steering! We even got a few family photos...Happy Fall Everyone.
